MOORING FINANCIAL AT THE RESTON TRIATHLON

Mooring Financial Corporation was a major sponsor of the 2005 Reston Triathlon and has been one for the past four years. Ten Mooring employees competed in the Triathlon, including President and CEO John Jacquemin (who has competed in the event since 1990), James Meeks, President of Mooring Tax Asset Group, and Kenneth Judd, Director of Finance & Controller. Other participants include members of the asset management, servicing and accounting groups at Mooring - Adrienne Holley, Aprille Sherman, Ben Jones, Christina Hanson, David Nalls, Jeremy Martin and Winston Kule-Thomas.

This year, a few friends, family, and business associates of Mooring employees also competed. Mooring encourages employees who are not competing in the triathlon to volunteer. Christine Studenroth offered her services as a volunteer for the seventh year in a row.

The course for the Triathlon includes a 1-mile swim in Lake Audubon in Reston, a 22.3-mile bike course on moderately hilly roadways and a 10K run on a trail in Reston, VA.

Mooring plans to continue its sponsorship of the Triathlon with funds, athletes and volunteers. Many of the Mooring athletes plan to compete again next year and hope to enlist even more of their colleagues.
