Mooring Financial Corporation Participates in Build Day for Habitat for Humanity

Vienna, VA. November, 2007 - A group of employees from Mooring Financial Corporation participated in a build day to support Habitat for Humanity's mission of building a 53-home development in Northeast Washington, DC. This was the fourth build day by Mooring employees. This site has progressed significantly with twenty-seven families already living in their new homes and six more homes under construction. Habitat for Humanity DC seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness in the nation's capital by building affordable, energy efficient homes.

Mooring Financial Corporation employees led by Habitat coordinators assisted with carpentry, landscaping and roofing. In conjunction with these events, Mooring Financial Corporation has donated $20,000 to Habitat for Humanity DC.

Mooring Financial Corporation actively supports giving back to the community and under the direction of John M. Jacquemin has a long history of corporate giving.
